1.1 These terms and conditions apply between you, the User of this Website (including any sub-domains, unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions), and Jewells Retail Limited, the owner and operator of this Website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they affect your legal rights. OUR LIFETIME WARRANTY

1. WHICH PRODUCT IS INCLUDED?

1.1 All Jewells product is covered within our lifetime manufacturer warranty. Welded products lost within one month of purchase will be replaced. After one month, welded products will be excluded unless the product can be presented. 

2. HOW DO I GET MY PRODUCTS COVERED?

2.1 Great news! Our warranty registration is free. Register your products (each product will need to be registered one by one) online and you will receive a confirmation email with the registration details.  Each product purchased in store or online must be registered online at https://jewells.com/pages/lifetime-manufacturer-warranty-registration 

3. CAN I TRANSFER MY WARRANTY TO A FRIEND?

3.1 The warranty is non-transferable and is available only to the original purchaser and is transferred to the gift recipient once they register, details about the warranty guarantee will be included on all sales and gift receipts. 

4. WARRANTY COVERAGE

4.1 The warranty covers manufacturing defects but not normal wear and tear or damage due to everyday use. 

4.2 Inclusions: 

  • Tarnishing (if the customer deems the product unacceptable after in-store cleaning) 
  • Defective clasps 
  • Broken chains 
  • Stones falling out 

4.3 Exclusions: 

  • Loss or damage due to negligence, improper use, or accidents 
  • Dents, scratches, and nicks from normal use 
  • Damage from activities like weightlifting, rock climbing, or DIY tasks or other ‘heavy lifting’ 
  • Tangles or knots due to improper storage 
  • Breakage from catching on clothing, blankets, or objects 

4.4 Any maintenance, repairs, or sizing performed by anyone other than Jewells voids the warranty.

5. ADVENT CALENDAR PRODUCTS

 5.1 If defective, a similar product will be offered, a value is assigned to each item. 

6. REPLACEMENT

6.1 If the product is no longer available, we will offer a similar product of equal value or store credit. 

7. 14K GOLD & DIAMONDS

7.1 Defects will be assessed by our production team, and a response will be provided within 5-10 business days. 

7.2 For online orders please contact customersupport@jewells.com referencing your warranty number and order number.   

8. MAINTENANCE

8.1 Care Instructions: 

8.2 Customers will receive care guidelines to prevent tarnishing with every purchase. Free Cleaning Service: We offer free cleaning in store to maintain the jewellery’s appearance.

8.5  If a customer believes their item has a manufacturing defect, they can return it to stores or online for inspection. If it’s confirmed, we will replace it or offer a suitable alternative or store credit. 

9. Online Purchases: 

9.1 Shipping & Handling: Defective items purchased online can be returned either in-store or online with free delivery.

COMPETITIONS

GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS

1. Unless otherwise stated, our competitions are open to everyone.  

2. If you are under 18, you must get consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering any of our competitions and they must agree to these Terms and conditions on your behalf.  

3. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this competition. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence. 

4. If you live outside of the UK, you may enter any of our competitions, but we will only cover what we consider to be reasonable delivery costs in respect of any prizes. 

5. Please note that only one entry per person is permitted.  

6. Entries received after the stated closing date above will not be accepted.  

7. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or that are incomplete, lost, delayed or misdirected for any other reason.  

8. The winners will be notified by email, text or phone call as soon as practicable using the contact details provided with the Competition entry. The winner will be required to respond within 7 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize. In the event the winner does not respond to communications within this period or if the prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner.

9. You should note however, that we reserve the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary for us to do so and the winner will be notified of this accordingly.  

10. The prize for the winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is rewarded.  

11. Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.  

12. We are obliged to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will send the surname and county of any winner and, if applicable copies of their winning entry, to anyone who emails or writes to Marketing, Jewells Retail Limited, Suite 1, 7th Floor, 50 Broadway, London, SW1H 0DB, the month the competition was run, (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us at marketing@jewells.com. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.  

16. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry and we reserve the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize(s) to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. We also reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.  

17. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in our privacy policy, which you can find on our website.

18.   LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

18.1  The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18.2  If you have opted-in to receive further information or marketing from any of the Promoter’s agents or suppliers involved in the administration of this competition, you understand and accept that the relevant third party will be solely responsible for any processing of your personal data for these purposes, that such processing will be governed by terms of that third party’s privacy policy and that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in association with any such data processing for these purposes. 

19  GENERAL

19.1  If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the competition into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the competition.

19.2  The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
